Festival Essentials

Festival Essentials
Summer has arrived and so have the festivals, in order to survive you need to consider the appropriate essentials. Going to a festival with just your hand bag and phone is a no go! Don't expect to be staying in a five star hotel; expect to stay in a five man tent instead.

After being on your feet all day raving to your favourite artists you are going to want a good night's sleep. In order to make this happen you're going to need the right essentials. If it's just you and your best mate rocking out, then the Pro Action 2 Man Tent Camping Starter Set will be handy. Argos have the greatest deal, only £42.49 to purchase a two man tent which also includes; two sleeping bags, two sleeping mats and also two head torches which are useful for trying to find your way around in the dark. This tent has also had good customer reviews. "The tent withstood very heavy rain and wind with no leaks or other problems." So this tent does the job.

If you're going as a three man band, then a three man tent is what you need. The Lichfield Sauk 3 Man Pop Up Tent - Blue is easy and quick to put up. This Argos tent "is an ideal option for festivals that are looking for more spacious interiors with the same ease of pitching associated with pop up tents". If you are unlucky enough to encounter some bad weather whilst attending the festival then there is no need to worry, this three man tent is water resistant with an attached groundsheet, so you won't wake up soaked.

If you're going with a group of friends, then yes these tents will be too small. However Argos is selling a 6 man tent at an affordable price for teenagers, if you're lucky enough to have a part time job or kind parents. The Pro Action six man tent "is made with durable polyester taffeta that is long lasting with a 1200mm water resistance. This tent takes approximately 30 minutes to pitch fully." Brilliant for if the next act is on in half an hour. This is the same price as the two man tent which is £42.49, which is a very good deal considering this tent is triple the size (but without the other equipment).

Another important essential is sleeping bags; otherwise you will be sleeping on the floor of the tent. The Gelert Classic Mummy Sleeping Bag is extremely comfortable with its 'Soft Polyester lining'. It is ideal for camping and it keeps you warm during the night. If you have claustrophobia however, then you do not want to be wrapped up in this sleeping bag like a cocoon, if not then this is ideal. You can find this sleeping bag on outdoorlook.co.uk for only £14.15.

Another main essential is the festival survival kit for only £24.95. This kit includes:
 * Mini First-Aid Kit
 * Banana Boat® SPF30 Sunscreen, 29ml – so you don't go home looking as red as a lobster.
* Kiss My Face® Anti-Stress Shower and Bath Gel, 29ml – to refresh after a raving all day.
* Travel size Kiss My Face® Liquid Rock Fragrance Free Deodorant
* Moldex® Spark Ear Plugs in Pocket Pack (2 Pairs) – in case there's a band you don't like, plug in the ear plugs.
* Moose Smooch® SPF15 Natural Lip Balm
* 6 inch glowstick – to add to the atmosphere of the festival, but make sure you don't use them in the daytime because you won't see them glow.
* Travel Toothbrush with Paste
* Condoms (2) – it's always good to be safe!

You can find this festival survival kit at funkywellyboots.com.
So here are all the main essentials to survive your festival, enjoy!
